The Story Behind the Songs
Imago ~ Life is a
wondrous journey, full of twists and turns, bends and dips, hopes and
dreams. This song is in honor of every unique and precious path we
pilgrims choose to respectfully travel on this amazing road called life.
Hobbits ~ I could
picture these fuzzy, fat feet marching about with joyful abandon as I
worked on this song. And since this was around the time The Lord of the
Rings won many Academy Awards, it felt right the title should honor
those small, but mighty and courageous Hobbits.

On That Day ~
Recorded on September 11th, 2004. in honor of those who lost their
lives on that day in 2001.
Mariposa ~ Most
butterflies migrate to warmer climates in the winter months. This piece
takes me away to somewhere nice and warm. A gentle breeze blows, and I
have not a care in the world.
Micah's Peak ~ Those
who live in the Spokane area might think this song is about a tall
mountain peak with a white dome perched on top. However, my first
experience of being a parent was to a four-legged furry creature
named Micah, who loved to play hide and seek and eat watermelon with me
on the front porch. Yeah, she was a very special dog, full of life and
love and lots of hair.
Midnight Musings ~
What happens when you drink caffeinated soda too close to bedtime!! |
